Wright’s Ferry is our original Inglenook tile style – inspired by the entry of the Wright's Ferry Mansion museum in Columbia, Pennsylvania. It’s also our most popular seller with its rough-edged warmth and timelessness. The Wright's Ferry 4”x8" red brick floor tile is made with a grout ridge. When this tile ridge is covered with grout, only the irregular edge is seen. When installed, these brick tiles have a hand formed, tumbled brick look.
Our Traditional Antique brick tiles are the straight-sided variant of the Wright's Ferry 4”x8" brick tile. The more regular shape of these brick tiles makes it a common choice for installations where a thinner grout line is desired. However, you can space it as wide or as thin as you like!
Our Lancaster Running Bond brick tile - named for the centuries old brick buildings and townhouses lining the streets of historic downtown Lancaster, PA – has multiple interior or exterior installation possibilities as a lightweight brick veneer.
Wimer's Mill brick tiles – named after our 18th century home – are the first thin bricks that we ever made. Slightly smaller than our other floor tiles, they are very rustic and rugged, with textured tops and extremely uneven edges. The Wimer’s Mill style is designed to look like they have been in place for over 200 years.
Our Flemish Bond brick tile is named after the historic Flemish bond pattern, where the 2x8" brick side is alternated with the 2x4" brick end. For this desired effect, this tile is an ideal complement to the Lancaster Running Bond (2”x8”) brick tile.
The streets of Oxford, England, particularly around the Radcliffe Camera, inspired the worn and weathered Cobble tile style. The real charm in these tiles is that the actual size is an approximation - they are not perfectly square!
We can make smaller and larger versions of the Cobble brick paver tiles for special orders.
